Beginners Yoga

These class will introduce you to the central postures of yoga, their names and correct alignment principles. You will  learn the correct breathing techniques while strengthening your body, increasing mobility, building your confidence and opening your mind. Expect to leave both energised and at ease in body and mind. We strongly advise new students attend Beginners classes  so you can learn the fundamentals of yoga in a safe atmosphere.

 You don’t need to bring anything, just your bare feet, comfy and loose fitting clothing along with a willing attitude!

Hatha Yoga

This slow flowing alignment based Hatha yoga class has an emphasis on the breath, moving energy throughout the body as well as giving an opportunity for deep relaxation. There will be a different theme and focus each week and you will be encouraged to be playful, with a little fun thrown in for good measure. Posture options and adjustments will be given throughout the classes so that they are suitable for all levels from advanced beginners upwards.

Iyengar

Yoga is a lamp which, once lit, will never dim.

Iyengar yoga focuses on precision, alignment and the breath. This is an open level class – if you are new to yoga or experienced, All welcome.

Gentle Hatha Yoga

Within the class there will be a focus on finding mental tranquility created by the union of breath and asanas (yoga postures),healthy alignment, slow sequences, as well as meditation. This is suitable for beginners, those in the initial stages of yoga and those seeking a more gentle yoga practice.

Vinyasa Yoga

Enhancing all fitness aspects and reducing stress levels, Dynamic Flow Yoga is a great mind & body workout for any level. The class combines principals from different Yoga styles, offering a large variety of poses entwined in a gentle flow of dynamic rhythm, enhancing flexibility, strength, cardiovascular endurance and mindfulness.

Power Yoga

A fast paced class to create heat in the body. We move through a series of postures, building on top of them to deepen our practice.
Be prepared to sweat, come out a little shaky in the thighs but calm in mind.

Back to basic

Suitable for beginners and those who wish to go back to basics. Experience for yourself how yoga can help improve posture, balance, strength and flexibility as well as calm the mind. Enjoy a mixture of basic yoga postures (asanas) to stretch and strengthen the body as well as guided relaxation to further quieten the mind.

Pregnancy Yoga

Prenatal yoga is a style designed for the physical and emotional needs of Mums-to-be. It is a wonderful way to stay active during your pregnancy and is complementary to your existing yoga practice, if you have one. These classes help relieve any pregnancy related aches and pains and encourage bonding with your baby bump, preparing you for an active labour and birth. As well as yoga postures, you will learn useful birthing positions, helpful breathing meditations, visualisations and pelvic floor exercises. These classes will help you stay comfortable, balanced and calm throughout pregnancy and give you tools to feel prepared, empowered and positive for birth and motherhood.
