Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT is a simple, quick and effective therapeutic method that uses tapping on acupressure points and simple phrases to gently let go of trauma, pain and unwanted emotional responses. Tapping the acupressure points on the head and body directly stimulates the autonomic nervous system to turn off fight-or-flight reflex responses to problem thoughts or situations, freeing ‘stuck’ problem emotions and allowing the thought or situation to be re-interpreted in a more constructive way.

EFT is applicable to many of the same issues as hypnotherapy with the advantage that you can also learn to do it yourself in a couple of sessions. Like hypnotherapy EFT can be used to treat life-long and historical problems using a process called Matrix Re-imprinting.
